Israeli Startup CamSpace New Business Horizon

We met Yaron Tanne and his new business partner Dory Zidon at this weeks Globes & TWS2009 convention where 10 companies were selected to show their technology in-fornt of a group of judges and outside the conference main hall.

Last time we met Tanne CamSpace was days before lunching their community site where game developers were encouraged to use their technology for their own games and eventually sell them or give them away.

Since, their focus has shifted towards selling games for the advertising industry - they now offer tailor made games for specific brands using their technology which allows indetifiying objects and playing with them using a simple webcam. At the same time they are looking at opportunities in the education industry.

Is it too late for the future? Project Natal has marked the future with a game that has face recognition capabilities, XTR3D has proven to do something similar with a simple webcam. What the future holds only the future knows.
